Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack for 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Towing a Vintage Travel Trailer
Question:
I am look for a hitch receiver for my jeep that will allow me to tow my small vintage travel trailer and to carry a couple of bikes. I prefer not to use hitch adapter. Ive found one D-210 Curt Multi Purpose Ball Mount but the issue is the spare tire on the back of the jeep. That one does not come out enough to clear the tire. thanks.

I would recommend that you use an extra long ball mount like the Brophy Ball Mount, # BM20, for towing your small travel trailer, and then use a spare tire mounted bike rack for your bikes, like the Thule Spare Me, # TH963PRO.
You will need to make sure your bikes will clear the trailer tongue and you will have clearance to turn with the trailer hooked up. The Accessories on your specific trailer will make a big difference, so you would need to determine that before purchasing these items.
The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, # RM-077-4, is not designed for use with any type of trailer, and can only be used with a tow bar.
