I did some checking and there are bike racks available for you 2006 Toyota Avalon but the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier # TH911XT is not recommended for you as Thule does not recommend the use of a 3 bike rack on your vehicle.
The 2 bike version of this rack is confirmed to fit, the part number is # TH910XT. I attached a review video and installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
If you need to carry a third bike you could get a Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack, check out the link I provided that will take you to a page with this rack for your vehicle.
And then you could get a roof mounted bike rack for the third bike. For that you could get a Yakima FrontLoader Bike Rack # Y02103. I attached installation instructions and a review video for this product for you to check out also.
