What Type of Horsepower Increases Does Edge Programmer Provide 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9 Liter

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT with full time 4wd and the 5.9L Magnum engine. What can I expect and tune with this unit? Are the tunable adjustments able to be made while driving or does the truck have to be parked?

For your 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT with a 5.9 liter Magnum V8 the Edge Programmer part # EP85350 that you referenced will provide really big performance gain actually. It can give you up to 47 additional horsepower and 59 ft lbs of torque. This will be very noticeable! The programming is not on the fly though so you would need to come to a stop to change tune levels.
