5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Nissan Titan XD w/ Factory Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
My 2019 Nissan Titan XD short bed has the factory gooseneck hitch but I want to install a fifth wheel hitch for towing my 14K 5th wheel. Which one should I use. Will the Gooseneck hitch interfere? I'm not sure what to do.

Demco has a couple of solutions that will work for your truck. Both options I'll mention involve using an adapter, part # DM6200 that mounts into the existing factory gooseneck and allows you to install a fifth wheel hitch.
Because your truck is a short bed, you'll need a sliding hitch to prevent the front of the fifth wheel from colliding with the rear of the truck's cab. For a standard sliding hitch with a 16K capacity, I'd recommend the Demco Hijacker Premier Series # DM6076P-UL-16K. A 21K Hijacker Autoslide option is also available as part # DM8550034. The Autoslide will automatically release during a turn, allowing the hitch to slide 14 inches rearward for additional clearance. Once the turn is complete, the hitch head returns to its forward position.
If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck, you can install one using part # DM8555002.
