How Many Holes Get Drilled to Install Demco Base Plate on 2005 Jeep Liberty  

Question:

the three holes on each of the base plate frame mounts do all three of ea sides holes need drilling into frame to put bolts through and are they 1/2 inch bolts that come with the kit and is that all the there is to mounting it to the frame sides ??? also are there detailed mounting or video instructions available to see on your site or internet to view. i am trying to decide between the demco one or roadmaster one thanks

Only one hole per side of the frame of your 2005 Jeep Liberty will have a hole drilled to install the Demco Tabless base plate kit part # DM9519181. I attached a picture that points out which of the bolt holes requires drilling. The needed hardware/bolts are included. The three bolts on either side of the kit are all that is needed for it to install. I attached a set of detailed instructions for this kit for you to check out as well but at this time we do not have any install videos for this base plate. The Demco and Roadmaster flat towing components are both really great routes to go. I wouldn't say one has a huge advantage over the other as they are both really solid options.

The only install video we have for a base plate kit on a similar Liberty to yours is the Blue Ox part # BX1122 which I did attach a link to on this page.
