In order to flat tow a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk you will need a number of components which I have attached for you below along with some recommendations. In regards to the wiring, you will need both a tail light wiring kit like the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56208 and a power steering pump wiring kit, the Flat Tow Performance Kit 68321424AB (Obtained Through Dealer) which I think is what you are referencing. The Flat Tow Performance Kit activates the electronic power steering (EPS) system while the vehicle is in tow mode.
