Tow Bar Wiring Kit for 2019 Ford F-250 King Ranch Edition with LEDs Around Tail Lights
Question:
This wiring kit shows to be a fit for my 2019 F250. I pulled the light assembly oiut today and I cant tell whether there is room to drill a hole for the bulbs or not. It is a King Ranch so it has the full complement of LEDs all around the perimeter of the lens, etc. Has this been done before?

I did take a look at the tail lights that come on the Ford F-250 King Ranch edition and I can see what you're referring to with the LED lights. When installing the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit # RM-152-LED-7 you need enough space to drill a 1" diameter hole in each of the tail light housings. If you don't have the room inside the tail light housing because of additional LED lights around the lenses, you may need to switch from a bulb and socket kit to a diode kit like the # RM-15267. Instead of placing an extra bulb in your tail light housing this kit actually connects into the vehicle wiring and receives a signal from the tow vehicle that engages the lights on your dinghy. This is the best solution for vehicles that don't have the space in their tail light housing to install an extra bulb.
