Where does the safety chain actually mount into the hitch assembly?

The safety chains from the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer part # K2MMT4X6 will hook to 2 metal rings that should be welded to your hitch. I have attached an example of what these may look like. However I cannot be sure the exact design of your particular hitch. They can sometimes be hidden under the fascia of your vehicle if you have a hidden cross tube hitch so you may want to take a look for something that looks similar to the photo I have attached.
The Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer coupler attaches to a 1-7/8" ball on a ball mount. If you don't know the amount of rise or drop you need to tow the trailer level I have attached a helpful article to assist in choosing a ball mount. Please keep in mind the safety chains will need to be crossed for safety if the coupler ever pops off the ball the chains will catch it.
