Boat Trailer Jack For a 1998 Shorelander Trailer with Original Snap Ring Jack

Question:

I have a 1998 Shorelandr boat trailer with a profile 2000 winch. This has a an unusual area in the built-in bracket where the trailer jack attaches. Im told that I need a snap ring jack, so Im assuming this should work...is that correct? Is this the strongest jack I can get that will be compatible with my trailer? Thanks for your time and attention.

The inside diameter of the snap ring for the Fulton Trailer Jack, # FTJ120W0301, is 2.28 inches, and is designed to fit in the 2-1/2 inch retaining groove on the mounting plate. As long as the diameter of the retaining groove on your jack mounting plate is 2-1/2 inches this jack will work.

This is the highest capacity jack that we have that has a snap ring attachment. Jacks with higher capacities have different attachment systems.
