Does 50 Amp RV Need 30 Amp or 50 Amp Circuit Protection When Using 30 Amp Service
Question:
I have a 50amp rv. I occasionally have to hook up to 30amp service. In this case if I were to use a surge protector sould I use a 50 or 30 amp?

Surge protectors are designed to protect the RV's circuits and accessories so even if you were using a 30 amp service your RV would be safe up to 50 amps so you'd want to use a 50 amp surge protector like the # CAM55306 which automatically disconnects when there's a dangerous voltage level and reconnects when voltage stabilizes.
