What Voltage Protector Should be Used on Trailer with 50 amp Plug Using 30 amp Plug Adapter
Question:
I have an rv with a 50amp plug..most camp sites that we go to have a 30 amp plug in. I use a 50 to 30 amp adapter. Which one should I use the 30amp voltage protector then plug in the adapter then my 50amp.. ...or the adapter then the 50amp voltage protector then my 50amp? RE30amp camco or 50amp camco?

If your trailer is rated for 50 amp service then that's what the appliances are rated for as well.
The idea is to protect them and since they would be drawing up to 50 amps the 30 amp protector would potentially cause problems. For that you would want the part # CAM55306.
