Can Road Armor Tandem Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 Replace TREQ356
Question:
I have a 2006 Forest River Wildcat 26 foot 5th wheel. I need to replace my shacks and was thinking of upgrading to the Road Armor Tandem Shock Absorbing Equalizer. Currently have EQ-356 triangular equalizers with 2.15 shacks, will the Road Armor work? Also, since the distance between the top bolt and leaf spring bolts is 1 inch taller will I need to purchase longer shackles to maintain the ride height and correct suspension geometry?

Yes, the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 can replace the equalizer part # TREQ356 that you have since the horizontal bolt holes are the correct distance apart. Since the vertical bolt hole distance is an inch taller though you would want to go with longer shackle straps. This will allow your leaf spring to sit level.
I don't know what shackle lengths you have now but I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry where you can select the length you need from the filters on the page.
