Is Drilling Required When Installing Firestone Air Command I Compressor # F2158
Question:
will i have to drill holes to install this kit

The only holes you should need to drill when installing the Firestone Air Command I Compressor # F2158 are the mounting holes when attaching the control panel (in the cab) and the air compressor itself (somewhere along the frame rails) to the desired locations. I have attached the full installation manual below that you can check out. The two sections related to these mounting procedures start on page 5.
If you'd rather not drill into the frame rails for the compressor mounting you can add the Firestone Universal Mounting Kit # F2497. The bracket clamps around the frame rails of the truck and features pre-drilled holes so that you can bolt on the compressor without having to drill anything.
