Recommended Hidden Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Hello, we just got a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon and are looking for a hitch but don't want one that sits below the bumper as we are tyring to keep the look as factory as possible. What do you reccomend

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon is the Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver part # 391SUOB20 which once installed will be completely hidden behind the rear bumper therefore you will retain the same factory appearance as the vehicle would have had once rolled off the showroom floor. The Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver is a direct bolt-on fit with no drilling required. However, you will need to remove the rear bumper fascia but this only needs to be done once whereas the hitch will be installed on the vehicle for the foreseeable future so the trade-off is not bad at all.
If you will be towing, you need to also obtain the Ball Mount Towing Package w/ Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches part # 391CONVOC3 which comes with trailer wiring, a ball mount, a hitch ball, and everything else you will need to tow a trailer which cuts downs on all the extra parts you must keep track of.
I have attached an install photo for you and as you can see there is no visible trailer hitch when the receiver tube is not attached.
