Trailer Hitch, Wiring and Accessories for a 1999 Toyota Sienna XLE to Tow a Boat Trailer
Question:
I think that I will not need to drill for my 99 toyota sienna van. Is that true? How much would it cost for a light weight towing kit that includes wiring, 1 7/8 ball and anything else I may of missed. I want everything I need to hook up my boat and go fishing.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # 75120 does require drilling to install on your 1999 Toyota Sienna, the Draw-Tite hitch # 36298. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
You would also need the ball mount kit # EBMK4, this will give you the ball mount, 2 balls, and the pin and clip. For trailer wiring, use # 43475. I have included some instructional links on the wiring as well.
If the boat has an electric reverse lockout feature and a 5-Way flat connector, you will need to use a 4-Way to 5-Way adapter to engage the lockout, # 20036. I have included a link to a video that shows a typical installation for you.
You will need to check your owners manual for other towing requirements, but Toyota does usually state that a transmission cooler is needed. If so, the most popular option is Derale cooler # D13502. I have included links on transmission coolers as well.
