Which RV Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable Can be Trimmed Down Shorter

I noticed that the valterra version of this product says that you can cut the cable to size. Is that true for this LaSalle product ?

We had one customer try to cut the cable of the LaSalle valve # 34466N4AB36GM and they said they weren't able to reassemble the cable after doing so as the set screw wouldn't get tight enough so I would not recommend this valve if your plan is to cut it.
We know the Valterra # TC372 can be cut down and work well so this would be your best option.
