The difference between the Reese Weight Distribution Systems, # RP66074 and # RP66084, is that the RP66084 system includes the adjustable shank and the # RP66074 system does not. If you choose to go with RP66074, then you will also want to get the Reese Weight Distribution Shank, # RP54970, and both systems will require a hitch ball, # 19286.

It is very important to verify the gross trailer weight and the tongue weight of your trailer before purchasing a weight distribution system. The tongue weight is typically 10 to 15 percent of the gross trailer weight. Enclosed car trailers are usually heavier trailers and at 15 percent the tongue weight of your trailer would be about 1,575 lbs.

Both of the systems you referenced only support a tongue weight up to 1,200 lbs. The weight distribution I recommend using is the Reese Weight Distribution System, # RP66075. This is basically the same system as the others, but is rated for 17,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,700 lbs tongue weight. This system also requires a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver opening which means it will only work with Class V trailer hitches.

If the tongue weight of your trailer when fully loaded is under 1,500 lbs, then you can use the Reese Weight Distribution System, # RP66130, which will fit a 2 inch receiver and has a 1,500 lb tongue weight capacity and a 15,000 lb gross trailer weight capacity.

Depending on the year of your Chevrolet Suburban 2500 there may be a Class V 2-1/2 inch hitch available if you determine you will need the higher capacity weight distribution system and you will also want to verify what size hitch the Ford F-350 Diesel 4x4 Dually will have as well.

All of these systems fit trailer frames up to 2-1/2 inches wide and do not require a specific height since it only mounts to the top and sides of the trailer frame. If you find that you need the hangers to sit lower on your trailer frame because height is an issue you can use the bolt on chain hangers, # RP58305.

I have attached installation instructions for you to check out.
