Can the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Be Used On a Dump Trailer

I am putting a Fastway e2 WD hitch on my dump trailer of 7k. Do I need to unhitch any component when dumping?

I spoke with Fastway about using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-1000 with a dump trailer and they said there would be no issue with leaving the system attached and then operating the bed. That said, they did want me to make sure that you were aware of how much weight you are loading towards the front of the trailer near the tongue as that could then change your tongue weight rating. However, I think the above system rated for up to 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight or 1,000 lbs tongue weight will be a perfect match for a 7,000 lb trailer.

Please note, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System is designed for trailer frames up to 6" tall but you can just weld the brackets to the frame if your frame rails are larger.
