Should Spacer Washers be Added One at a Time With Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
Question- Help!....FA92-00-1000, tow vehicle 18 F150 has a stock rake to it, Front 36 3/8, Rear 38, After install, 6 spacer washers, ball 3/4 inch above hitch receiver, Front wheel dimension never changed, rear dropped 2, we noticed bars were not quite parallel with frame, so we moved it up 1 hole, now we sit at 1 1/2, The set up looks fine, level looking, What is our next step here? Adding spacer washers to reduce the 1 1/2, do we add one at a time, or is there formula that each spacer washer equals so much measurement? We are at stopping point, HELP PLEASE

You should add one spacer washer at a time with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA92-00-1000 as there is not a specific formula regarding one washer equaling a certain measurement. The reason for this is that there are too many variables in regards to specific vehicles and trailers for one spacer washer to definitively equal a specific measurement.
Keep in mind that you should use a minimum of 5 washers and a maximum of 9 washers so you will need to experiment a bit to find the correct combination of L-bracket height and amount of washers. This can admittedly take some time but is important in order to maintain a safe system that has the proper amount of weight on each axle.
I have added a link to the manual for this system as well should you need access to it.
