Plow Recommendation for 2003 Chevy Silverado with Front Hitch for Plowing Gravel Driveway

I am looking for a snow plow for my large gravel driveway. I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and I just purchased a Curt 2inch front receiver hitch. Do you recommend the K2 Avalanche, or one of the SnowBear models? Also what size do you think my size truck?

For a plow that is confirmed to fit the front hitch of your 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD I recommend the SnowBear Proshovel Snowplow # SB324-172. It measures 84 inches wide by 22 inches tall which means it will take a wide section of snow with each pass and is a taller size which allows for a better plowing angle. This also comes with skid shoes that you can adjust so that you can plow gravel well. Since plowing gravel can be challenging to do without scooping up gravel you will need to set the skid shoes to set the lower lip of the plow 1 inch off the ground and you'll have great results.

Yes, the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver #DT36MR will fit your 2022 Ram 3500. This has a bolt-on installation with a 9,000 lb line pull and 500 lb vertical load limit. The only exception is if you have a diesel model.

Actually SnowBear does not list a max height range for their snow plows like the part #SB324-172 that you referenced. A 22 inch hitch height like what you have would not be a problem at all for this plow!
