Keep Air In Or Out Of Air Ride Pin Box During Winter Storage

I wanted to know if I should leave the air in the system during winter storage for 6 plus months or let the air out?

Expert Reply:
A minimum of maybe 5 psi in the bag is a good amount to retain it's shape while in storage. For winter storage, you don't want much pressure on the bag and fittings.
While it is incredibly rare that we ever hear about air bag issues with these pin boxes like the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR, minimally inflating while in storage is still a good idea.
