How To Prevent Terrifying Sway In 2017 Coachmen Leprechaun On Ford E-450 Cutaway
Question:
When driving and big rigs pass us the coach is being moved to the side of the road towards the ditch by about 2 -3 feet. Worse problem is when we are on uneven roads. the RV will start to rock from side to side and becomes almost impossible to control. The only way to correct the problem if you are driving to to come to a complete stop. The RV has airbags which are inflated to 80 pounds. The unit has factory anti swap bars on it currently. Can you recommend a possible fix.

It sounds like you are experiencing a lot of sway in the 2017 Coachman Leprechaun which is somewhat of a common issue with the factory sway bars on the Ford chassis. I recommend to replace the factory sway bars with Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1139-176 and Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1139-147.
The sway bars will help to keep the RV on the road when a big semi passes by bracing the frame to diminish the swaying effect. The aftermarket sway bars are far superior to the factory bars to prevent the sway that you are experiencing. They also work to evenly distribute shifting weight to make turning easier. I have attached a couple of videos for your reference on a Leprechaun.
