You do want to choose a weight distribution system based off of the loaded tongue weight of the trailer. The Husky Center Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control part # HT32218 is a great option for a weight distribution system on your trailer if your loaded tongue weight will fall between 800 and 1200 lbs. Since your dry tongue weight is 765 lbs, your loaded tongue weight will most likely fall into the correct range, but you want to measure your tongue weight with a scale like part # e99044 once the trailer is loaded.
The Husky center line will help to keep the trailer in line when a semi passes you on the highway and your trailer sways all over the place. It combats sway with the 4-point friction, steel on steel brackets and tension in the weight distribution head to keep the spring bars in place. It will also help sag in the tow vehicle by evenly distributing the weight.
If your loaded tongue weight does not fall between the 800 and 1200 lb range of this particular Husky Center Line system please let me know and I can assist your further.
