Could 1,500 watt Camco Element Replace 1,440 Watt Element

Question:

Will it work on a suburban water heater

Yes, a 1,500 watt element like the part # CAM02143 that you referenced would work just fine in place of a 1,440 watt element. As long as the water heater has an 8 inch minimum tank diameter this would work well. Here's a list of the brands of water heaters this fits:

American, A.O. Smith, Bradford White, Craftmaster, General Electric, GS Wood, Kenmore, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Reliance, Rheem, Richmond, Ruud, Sears, State, and Whirlpool (edit: also Suburban).

Yes, it does work on a Suburban water heater like what you have. We've had customers leave reviews for this element telling us how it worked for their Suburban. I added this back to my first response to you since I left it off.
