Recommendation For Hitch on 2008 Saturn Vue XE AWD To Tow a 425 Pound Four Wheeler on a Trailer
Question:
I have a 2008 Saturn Vue XE AWD vehicle and just bought a new four wheeler that weighs 425 pounds. What would be the best/cheapest hitch setup for this? There are a few options when I look at my vehicle page but not sure what I really need for towing just a four wheeler. I do not have a trailer yet.

I would recommend a Class III 2 inch hitch receiver like the Draw-Tite Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 75556 for your 2008 Saturn Vue XE AWD. The 2 inch size hitch receiver will allow you more options for towing and better choice of hitch accessories compared to smaller 1-1/4 inch sized hitches. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Draw-Tite Hitch.
For towing you would also need the following.
Curt Ball Mount, part # D-4
Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19260, or Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247
Hidden Hitch Pin and Clip, part # PC3
Curt Wiring Harness, part # C56026 (see link to installation instructions)
With your four-wheeler that weighs 425 lbs you will need to use a small trailer to haul it, because the weight would be too much to be used on any type of hitch cargo carrier, since it would exceed the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on your vehicle. The couple of trailers I have would not be wide enough to carry a four-wheeler.
