Help Info for Placing Axle Underneath Car Hauler Trailer

I am making a 37ft bumper pull car trailer to pull my 2 mud trucks! My question is where do I need to put the axle

The 60/40 axle placement formula is a great starting point for where to place the axle. That means putting 60 percent of the trailer in front of the axle center and 40 percent behind it. Basically the goal is to have 10 percent of the total weight of the trailer end up as tongue weight as this will allow your trailer to track the best behind your tow vehicle without swaying.
I attached a picture and a help article that covers more on this topic for you to check out as well. Sometimes you have to move where the axle is located to allow the tongue weight to fall where it needs to.
