How To Install the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Install Kit On a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

What are the directions bought the universal one for my truck from u guys years ago never installed but I lost the directions. Could u email them to me?

The Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16100 is a fit for your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I have attached a copy of these instructions as well as a photo with measurements for you below. Please note, you will need to drill into the truck frame to install this kit. I really don't recommend this so a much better option for you would be to use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16418-204 which does not require any drilling into the frame therefore cutting install time in half.
If you don't already have a hitch, the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16120 is one of my favorites due to the interlocking jaws which form a tight grip on the king pin that makes for a smooth ride and the removable head design which allows for one person to remove/install the hitch by themselves. The Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56000 might be needed as well.
