Is Conspicuity Tape Required for Use on Trailers Less Than 80 Inches Wide
Question:
Do trailers under 80inch need conspicuity tape along the sides and rear bumper? I know anything over 80inch wide and 10K. Lbs is required, but I havent dealt with smaller trailers and their requirements.

According to the regulations (see the link I provided) conspicuity treatments are NOT required for trailers that are under 80 inches wide. This being said, it's never a bad idea to make yourself more visible to traffic but it's not a requirement.
