Roof Vent for 2017 Rockwood Premier A213HW with Angled Roof

Question:

So you think that the fan facing forward into the wind going down the road would stay closed? Also, I forgot to mention that the roof thickness is approximately 1 1/2. Your first answer makes me want one, but I hate to be the guinnea pig. Especially if I cut the old one that is glued down and not screwed down. I appreciate your expertise.

For your 2017 Rockwood Premier A213HW the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan would be your best choice to allow you to vent the trailer while traveling and have the fan face the rear. It will also stay down when on the highway as well.

On the interior of the trailer the vent also stays flush like you are wanting as well.

I wouldn't face the van with the vent side forward. I'd have it facing towards the rear like a standard install. This way rain wouldn't force itself into the vent and the lid wouldn't possibly want to lift when traveling. Or the other option is to have the vent face the side of the trailer.
