How to Power A-Frame Trailer Jack
Question:
Want this for my enclosed trailer.. the only battery source on board is for the breakaway.. what’s the options for powering this.. I sure don’t need it to be massively complicated... thank you

You can either power the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 by adding a 12V battery to your trailer or by connecting it to the 12V power pin (11 o'clock position) on your trailer side 7-Way and then ground the white wire to the frame of the trailer. If you don't already have a 7-Way on your trailer I recommend the Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000 which really helps to simplify your connections and keeps them clean.
If you want something more simple then we have the Buyers Products 12-Volt Electric Jack # 3370093500 which has a 3,500 lb weight rating and it comes with a 7-Way connector already installed on it so to operate it you just have to have access to a 7-Way with 12V power.
