Portable Supplemental Braking System for 2019 Ford Fusion with Active Power Braking System

I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2019 FORD FUSION HYBRID AND WANTED TO MOVE MY EVEN BRAKE SYSTEM FROM MY OLD VEHICLE TO MY NEW FUSION. CAN I USE THE EVEN BRAKE IN MY FUSION HYBRID? YOUR WEBSITE SAYS I CAN BUT THE INSTRUCTION WITH THE EVEN BRAKE SAYS NO BECAUSE THE FUSION HAS AN ACTIVE BRAKING SYSTEM. WHICH IS CORRECT?

The Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 is not compatible if your 2019 Ford Fusion has the active braking system as you found in the instructions. This is a fairly universal product so even though it does show up in the fitguide for your Fusion there is a bullet point in the specs stating that it is not compatible with power assist braking.
For a portable braking system that is compatible with your active braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. this is very similar to your Even Brake and has received high praise from our customers who have purchased it.
Attached is a review video for you to check out. Please note that you need to also install the Relay Kit # RM-88400 unless you are using magnetic towing lights.
