Compatibility of B&W Companion, Headache Rack, and DeeZee Tool Box on 2017 Ram 3500
Question:
2017 ram 3500 8ft. bed, want to purchase dz92656b tool box w/fuel tank and bandw rvk3600 5th wheel hitch as well as bandw headache rack my question is will tank and toolbox have adequate room after hitch is installed factory puck system also will cargo camera work with the above mentioned head ache rack ?thanks in advance for your help with this

In order to determine if the DeeZee Specialty Series Transfer Tank/Toolbox Combo # DZ92656B will fit with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3600 on your 2017 Ram 3500 you will want to take a measurement back from the outer edge of one of the front factory pucks in the bed up to the front wall of the bed against the cab. If you get a measurement of at least 32-3/4 inches both components will work together without interference.
With that being said I'm not sure you will be able to have both of these products mounted with the addition of a headache rack like the B&W # BWPUCP7522WA, which will require you to push the toolbox back a few inches to make room for its uprights. Most likely it will be a tight enough fit with just the hitch and toolbox but if you find you have room to spare then it can be added.
We have talked with B&W before about their custom headache racks for the Ram trucks and they verified that the opening between the top crossbar and middle bar between the integrated lights lines up with the 3rd brake light on the truck, thus allowing both the light and cargo camera to remain unobstructed.
