Installing Load Resistors on GMC Savana to Prevent Hyperflashing with New LED Lights

Question:

2007 GMC Savana hyperflashing turn signals I have installed replacement LED bulbs for the turn signals and reverse lights, but I cannot find a correct combination of wires for the load resistor to prevent the hyperflashing. Either the connectors are not getting through to the wire properly, or there may be something else going on. What is the wiring diagram for the turn signals, front and back, for this vehicle? I cannot find a copy online at all. ANy other suggestions for troubleshooting would be appreciated There is a trailer hitch installed and it appears that was wired into the wiring going to the right side tail light.

Installing some load resistors like the Diamond # DI34ZR to the circuits mentioned should resolve the hyperflashing you are getting with the new LEDs. When installing the resistors you want to make sure that you connect them in line with the turn signal circuit wire before the bulb and not after.

I wasn't able to track down the specific wire colors of these circuits on your Savana so the best route will be to use a circuit tester like # PTW2979 to test the wiring behind the tail lights. Have somebody run through the turn signals while you look for the wire that gets power when they are on.

I have attached a diagram for the load resistors that you might find helpful as well.
