Brake Controller Wiring on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
Question:
I just bought a Brake Controller from you for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Are there any shortcuts after-market wiring harnessess, etc. available to assist me in the installation? From what I know so far, I assume the controller gets hard wired and the blue wire underneath the steering column is used. Are there any other kits to simplfy the hard wiring?

Thank you for your recent order with etrailer.com. We appreciate your business. Currently there are no quick connect wiring harnesses for the Valley Odyssey. You will need to hard wire the brake controller to your Jeep. We do offer an install kit part #ETBC7 that includes all of the items you will need to install your brake controller. If your blue wire under your steering column is the brake wire then yes, you will use it when hardwiring the brake controller. I have included the link to the online wiring instructions to help you with installation. There is also a video on the link that offers step by step instructions for a brake controller installation.
