Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali Dually with Overload Springs
Question:
Hi, I tow a 40 ft. 15,500 lb. fifth wheel with my 2019 GMC Sierra 350Denali dually. My pin weight is about 3200 lbs and the measured total weight on the truck rear axle is about 7000 lbs. The truck is level when loaded and the stock suspension sits just on the overload springs but does not compress them at all. I am experiencing a very rough ride when towing so I am interested in hearing your ideas to help make the ride more comfortable. I have considered using air bags but since I am already level under load I didnt want to raise the rear height if not necessary. What I really need is something that would take out the harshness of the overload springs but I am not sure what is the best solution. Can you make a recommendation? Thanks!
