Troubleshooting Switches Not Working Properly for Lippert Electric Trailer Jack
Question:
My on/off switch doesnt work and unit stays on. And it appears Ret/ext directions have switched. I did extend to its limit and it may have been working before it correctly. Do I need to replace switches?

When you say the unit stays on, are you talking about the lights, or the actual motor that extends/retracts the leg? If the lights continue to stay on then it would be worth double checking the connections to make sure they look good before replacing the switch.
When it comes to the retract/extend functions being switched it may just mean that you need to swap some wiring on the back. It sounds a little odd that just extending the jack all of the way would cause these functions to reverse but you can double check that all of the wiring is correct for both switches via the attached photo before replacing the extend/retract switch LC226023 as well.
