Dummy Cap for 4-Way Wiring Harness Won't Budge on 2011 Honda Pilot
Question:
How do I pull off the cap on the connection point behind the rear bumper on my 2011 Honda Pilot? Mine wont budge. Pushed and pulled on the tabs while pulling on the cover and no movement. Used flat head screw underneath and under tabs, still no movement. driver

You may need to use a pair of pliers to remove the dummy cap to install the Curt T-Connector # C56170 on your 2011 Honda Pilot. If you check out the 2:54 minute mark of the attached installation video for the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118253 you can see us doing this exact thing. You may need to use a set of pliers for both the cap and the actual connector to ensure that you don't damage the wiring.
