It really all depends on what trailer light kit you have installed on your boat trailer. Some kits are designed to withstand submersion and other kits aren't. If you can let me know what kit is on your trailer (not just the type of bulbs you use) I can help you determine if it is submersible (granted we carry it).

Another thing to note is that you need to make sure your trailer wiring is unplugged before backing the trailer into the water. Even if your lights are submersible, if you don't unplug the wiring before backing into the water they could become damaged.

Thank you for the info! It looks like you have the Peterson Tail Lights # 432200 and # 432400 which are non-submersible lights. This would explain why you are having issues with the bulbs going out. For a set of similar lights that are submersible I recommend the Blazer LED Trailer Tail Lights # C7483RTM and # C7493RTM. These are similar in size and feature the license plate light on the driver's side. The biggest difference is that these ground through the frame while the ones that you currently use ground through the mounting hardware. An installation video has been linked for you to check out.
