How to Switch Titan Model 60 Drum Brake Actuator to Disc Brake Actuator

Question:

I have this unit on my boat trailer. I see where it says drum brakes but my boat trailer has disc only on front axle. Will this item still work with the setup i have because it looks like the same one I got on the trailer now? Thanks

We have a simple solution for you, though actuators for drum brakes and disc brakes require different psi ratings so you would not be able to use your 7,000 lb rated Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator with your trailer that has disc brakes, but you don't need to get an entirely new actuator either.

Instead, all you need to do is switch our the master cylinder on your drum brake actuator for the disc brake application; so all you need to do is add the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuators - Disc # T4820000 and your actuator is ready to be used with disc brakes.
