Do Our Trailer Tires and Wheels Come Balanced

Do your tire and wheel sets come already balanced?

Our tires and wheels like the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel # LHAW121 do not come machine balanced from the factory. Some manufacturers will line up the heavy spot on the wheel with the light spot on the tire, which is a form of balancing, but not the same as what you would have done on your passenger tires and wheels.
With that being said, trailer tires don't need to be balanced the same way as passenger tires because they are designed primarily to support the vertical weight of your trailer and steering/cornering isn't as much of a concern. Having them balanced at a local shop certainly won't hurt them but it's not a requirement.
