Troubleshooting Nuts for U-Bolts on 17K Reese Strait-Line Twisting Off
Question:
I HAVE A RP66075 WDH AND WHEN INSTALLING NUTS ON THE CLAMPS THAT HOLD THE CHAINS ONE LEG ON BOTH U-BOLTS TWISTED OFF. CAN YOU ASSIST WITH THIS?

When installing the Strait-Line # RP66075 did you make sure that you have at least 2 threads showing past the end of the nuts for the cams? If you just installed them so that the nuts were flush with the end of the U-Bolts then that would be your problem.
If you did install these correctly please let me know and send me a picture of your U-Bolts so I can help you troubleshoot further.
