Trailer Jack Needed to Easily Maneuver Boat Trailer in Garage

What is the most easily maneuvering trailer jack? I’m tired of kicking my single tire jack to maneuver it. Worse I lift it and pull my back out. 18’ Lund with 115hp. Only moving a few feet on clean smooth garage floor. Please help. I’m worried while kicking the tire the jack will snap and chop my foot off. Is a dual tire better or even a bigger tire? Since you are maneuvering your boat trailer on a smooth garage floor there really isn't any advantage to using a dual wheel jack like the Fulton # FXPD15L over a single wheel jack. The dual wheels basically help to make moving the trailer easier when rough terrain is involved.

If you are having difficulties moving your trailer (and it is affecting you physically) then you may opt for a jack that is easier to use. Trailer Valet has a few different options to choose from with the base unit being the 5X Swivel Jack # STC-V211 which can handle up to 500 lbs tongue weight. If you need something more heavy-duty then you need the XL which comes with either a 2" # TVXL2 or 2-5/16" # TVXL25 hitch ball for a 1,000 lb tongue weight rating.

The biggest advantage of the Trailer Valet trailer dollies is that you can use the hand crank or the drill attachment # TVDA (which comes with the XL versions but is sold separate for the 5X) to effortlessly maneuver your trailer around your garage or even on an incline. These do reflect a higher price point but if you move your trailer frequently then it is a great investment that will eliminate your current frustration and ensure you don't have to lift your trailer.
