Does Installing Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck Hitch Wiring Kit in 2016 Ford F-250 Require Additional Spacer

Question:

With the 2016 Ford F250 truck bed they are now made with very little room between the outer wall and inter wall at the back end of the bed. Will I need a spacer for the plug to mount flush in the bed ? The reason I ask is a friend had one installed at a shop and they said they had to mount a spacer because of the 2016 Ford F250 bed being thinner at the rear of the bed.

We had the chance to install the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 50-97-410 that you referenced in a 2015 Ford F-250 (same generation and bed as your 2016 model), and we found that it did not require any additional spacers beyond what comes with the kit to successfully install.
