Wiring Kit to Convert Trailer Wiring to 7-Way Format
Question:
Yes, its for an 18foot trailer. The wiring kit I bought does not work on my truck. The connector apparently is not universal. I have rewired the whole trailer and am just looking for the connector box and the wiring harness to plug into my truck from the trailer. My truck is fine. Thanks!

Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000 allows a trailer's existing 4-pole, 5-pole or 6-pole wiring to be re-formatted to the 7-way RV standard to match the 7-way socket on your Silverado. The kit includes a male trailer plug and cable, hardware and ring terminals to allow you to wire both the male plug/cable's leads and the existing trailer wires together inside the included junction box. The kit also includes protective wire loom to keep any exposed trailer wiring protected from road debris.
This kit's male 7-way connector fits a 7-way female socket like the one shown in the linked photo.
