Flush Mount Submersible LED Back Up Trailer Light Recommendation
Question:
I need 2 backup lights that are submersible. They need to be flush mounted, LED, and 3inch or smaller tall. Any shape will work as I havent cut the openings yet. Also need to be horizontal mounted. Also which ones are bright? The brighter the better.

The light that you have referenced, # BUL10CB, fits the criteria that you have mentioned. If mounted horizontally, it is only 2-1/4 inches tall and 6-7/16 inches side to side. It is flush mount (use grommet # a70gb). The lights are LED and as such they are brighter than incandescent lights. They are also categorized as submersible.
You will also need a wiring harness, # A49PB, to connect to the light. The light itself is submersible but the wiring connections will need some attention to keep out water. Shrink tubing can be used. Dielectric grease, 11755, should be used between the light and the wiring harness.
You can also use liquid electrical tape, # SWC50122, to cover wiring splices to keep out water.
