Is There a Mileage Range for the Electric Trailer Brake Kit AKEBRK-35-SA
Question:
I purchased and installed these brakes in 2017, on all four wheels of my 6000 pound camper and have never had any issues. We went cross-country from Florida to Texas New Mexico Arizona Utah Wyoming Montana South Dakota back to North Carolina and to Florida almost 7,000 miles put on some short trip since 50 miles or so last trip was 300 miles round-trip. Always check Hub temperatures every time we stop for gas to make sure bearings are good. Was just curious thats what to expect for mileage on these brakes.

Glad to hear that you are getting good use out of the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA!
Since there are a whole lot of factors that go into brake assembly wear (how loaded the trailer is, the amount of braking and whether it is fast or slow) there isn't an exact mileage you can really expect out of this kit (or any other brake kit for that matter). You basically just want to check up on them to make sure they are in good working order and then change them once they get worn out. The etrailer.com brakes do have an automotive-grade friction material that is bonded and not riveted that does give it an advantage over a lot of the other brake assemblies.
I have attached a helpful article with our recommended trailer maintenance schedule so that you can help extend the life of your trailer components.
