Can Second Friction Sway Control Unit be Added to Trailer
Question:
I am looking to add a second sway control kit to my camper. I have one installed on the left side. I need to install the second on the right side. Is there a specific one for the right side?

Expert Reply:
To add a second sway-control bracket to their WD hitch, the Draw-Tite Sway Control Tab, part # 3442 is typically welded to the other side of the ball mount used, giving an additional mount for the sway control ball.
You can then add the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit, part # 83660 which has the ball included and can be used in the # 3442 tab. You'd just need to remove the insert of the # 83660 and flip it over 180 degrees so that it can fit the other side of the trailer
