Largest Cargo Box Available for a 2019 Honda Odyssey

We have a 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L with the black luggage / crossbars installed. On my last trip I used one of those roof bagsinch that strap down and it drove me nuts. I want a hardshell carrier. I want something that will hold a lot of luggage and be as easy to install by myself as possible. What would you recommend?

The largest cargo box we have for your 2019 Honda Odyssey is the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH6299B which offers 22 cu ft of cargo capacity followed by the Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box part # Y07337 which offers 21 cu ft of cargo capacity.
In regards to ease of installation, they both have easy to use clamps but the Motion weighs less at 55 lbs whereas the SkyBox weighs 62 lbs. Therefore, the Motion will be easier to get on and off the vehicle. In regards to finish, they are both made of ABS plastic but the glossy look of the Motion is more appealing in my opinion. They both come with lifetime warranties and locks for security.
Please note, the Motion requires a cross bar spread of 23-5/8" - 36-7/8" and hatch clearance measurement of 55" whereas the SkyBox requires a cross bar spread of 24"-42" and hatch clearance measurement of 57". The hatch clearance measurement will be taken from the center of the front cross bar to the closest part of the hatch while open.
In summary, I recommend the Motion because it will be easier to use and can carry more but the SkyBox is a close second and is more cost effective.
