The Thule Cascade XT boxes are no longer being made but they came in a few different sizes. If you can tell me what model in particular you are looking at I will be happy to determine what it's cargo capacity was.
The Thule Motion XT Cargo Box # TH629907 that you were looking at is a fantastic alternative that offers 22 cubic feet of storage space. It has a dual-side-opening lid that lets you access your gear from either side of the vehicle, integrated locks to help protect your investments, and a really sleek design that now only looks great but also helps to reduce wind noise and drag during travel.
