Bike Rack for Step-Through Bike Frames on 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
What is the proper method to secure a ladies frame bike on a Swagman or similar XC2 platform rack? Will the hold downs work with the downward curving frame member? We have two LIV City Flourish, and want to be certain that we can mount them safely on our 5th wheel 2 inch receiver. Thanks

You can mount a bike with a step-through frame like your LIV City Flourish bikes, though I do need to mention that the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650 is not rated for use behind a fifth wheel trailer.
We do have options though, with the best being the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack # LGA77FR because this is a wheel-mounted rack approved for use on the back of a fifth wheel. The step-through frames of your bikes will not come into play because the V-Lectric Fat Pro grips and holds your bikes by the wheels; it will also work if your bikes have fenders though, and from what I saw in my research of LIV City Flourish bikes, some do have fenders, while others do not. This will not be an issue.
